Money for training for you and your PAs

If you use your personal health budget to employ PAs, apply for funding from Skills for Care to pay for training.

It can cover the cost of care related training for you as an employer and to develop the skills of your PAs. People have previously applied for funding for training around first aid, moving and handling, infection control, being a good employer, qualifications and bespoke training.

• The funding can cover the costs of care related training and qualifications, travel expenses and pay for replacement PAs.
• It cannot be used to fund training for health care tasks included in your care plan.
• There is limited funding and employers are encouraged to submit an early application to avoid disappointment.
